Description and itinerary

First, you will stop in La Laguna, where you will have free time to visit the local farmers market and discover typical island products such as fruits, cheeses and local specialties.

You will then continue towards the famous laurel forest of Las Mercedes and Cruz del Carmen area, where you will have free time if you would like to enjoy a pleasant short walk with panoramic views. Here it feels like spring all year round and the landscapes are incredibly green.

Later, in the Anaga area, you will have free time to enjoy a picnic with views over the village of Taganana and its impressive mountains (food not included).

You will then continue to Roque de las Bodegas Beach, located on the northern side of the island, an area historically known for local wine production and exportation. You will make a short stop there to enjoy the scenery and take pictures.

You will then drive back through the Anaga mountains towards the south, arriving at Las Teresitas, Tenerife's first artificial beach, famous for its sand imported from the Sahara Desert. You will have free time to walk around or enjoy a drink at one of the seaside cafés.

You will also pass through Santa Cruz, the island's capital city, and its large harbour where many international cruise ships arrive. This is a panoramic part of the tour and does not include a stop.

The last stop will be in Candelaria, known for its basilica and the Black Virgin. You will also be able to see the famous statues of the ancient Guanche kings, the volcanic beach and the village streets.

Finally, you will return south to your hotel.

Please note that the itinerary is only an example and may change depending on the day, the group, traffic or local conditions.

Please also note that this is not a guided hiking tour or guided city visit. These are different stops at points of interest where you will have free time to enjoy the places, walk around and take pictures.

If you would prefer a guided hiking experience or more detailed city visits, we can also look at private options depending on our guides’ availability.
