Useful Info

  • Transport available on request. For longer distances there is a supplement. 
  • If you don't need transport or you live in an area not included, we will send you the meeting point and time.
  • The pick-up time and place will be confirmed during booking. If there is no pick-up, the meeting time and place will also be confirmed then.
  • Transport: if selected, you will be picked up at your accommodation. The closest places are Santiago del Teide, Adeje and Arona, but they can also travel to other towns if you need, at an additional cost.
  • If you have your own means of transport, you have the option of asking the guide to drive your vehicle. In this case, you must ask the guide for his driving licence details in order to add him as a driver on the rental contract. This option costs an additional €8 per hour.
Rules & Health
  • Before booking the experience, please let us know if you have any allergies, particular conditions and consult a doctor if you have any health problems.
  • Be aware that the trail is located at an altitude of more than 3,500 metres, which means that it can affect the health.
  • For safety reasons, people with heart conditions and pregnant women are not allowed to use the cable car.
  • This activity is not recommended if you have injuries or limited mobility.
Cable car & trail access permits: 
  • The guide is willing to arrange the permit to access the trail on your behalf. To do this, you will only need to provide your full name and ID or passport details in the "Finalise Purchase" section of the page.
  • On the day of the trail, you need to bring the printed permit and your ID/Passport.
  • Confirmation of your booking is subject to the issuance of the permit.
  • If we are unable to confirm your booking, we will provide you with alternatives: change of booking date or full refund.
  • We can arrange the purchase of the cable car tickets for you. The price is €40 per adult, return trip.

What should I bring?

  • The weather in Tenerife can be very variable. Always carry plenty of water, sunscreen and lip balm, sunglasses, a hat, warm clothes and footwear suitable for hiking.
  • You can also bring a snack or sandwich.

Policy modification & cancellation:

  • Due to the National Park's permit management system, once we have confirmed your booking, no cancellations for any reason will be possible less than 5 days before the meeting time.
  • If you want to change the date of the activity, changes are possible depending on the availability of the guide and the cable car and permit.
  • Cancellation up to 15 days before the service, reimbursement of 100% of the amount.
  • Cancellation between 14 and 8 days before the service, refund of 75% of the amount.
  • Cancellation between 7 days and 5 days before the excursion, 50% of the amount with a minimum of 130€.
  • Cancellation within the last 5 days or no-show, no refund will be given.
  • If there is a case of force majeure beyond the control of the service provider or if weather conditions prevent the correct provision of the service, a change of date will be proposed or 100% of the total amount of the booking will be refunded.
  • After 15 minutes of the agreed meeting time, the absence of the client will be considered as a cancellation of the contracted services, being this sufficient reason to apply the corresponding cancellation policy.
  • In the event that the participant decides to interrupt or leave the activity prematurely, no refund will be made. Furthermore, if the guide determines that the client is not in a suitable condition for the excursion and this may affect his/her safety, he reserves the right to refuse admission to the activity without the right to a refund.

Jean-Guy: Passionate traveller in love with the Canary Islands

  • Adventures and Environmental Commitment: Grandson of a Breton sailor, Jean-Guy embraced a life of adventure. After volunteering in Burkina Faso, his professional experience propelled him to the Canary Islands in 2006.
