We also inform you that the relevant complaint forms, duly authorised by the Directorate General for Tourism Planning and Promotion of the Canary Islands Government, are available for our customers; customers can request them during opening hours by email to hola@tenerifecotours.com and they will be sent to you.

2. Object

These General Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "GCS") apply to all sales made by TenerifEco Tours (hereinafter "the Company") to customers (hereinafter "the Customers") who purchase a product or service through any medium, including but not limited to purchases made online (www.tenerifecotours.com), by telephone, in person, by post or by WhatsApp. These T&Cs also apply to all forms of payment accepted by the Company, including payment in cash, by bank transfer, via Bizum or via the online payment platform.

TenerifEco Tours offers online and in-person tourist intermediary services for booking excursions in Tenerife and the Canary Islands. The products offered include boat trips, hiking routes, sporting activities such as canyoning, diving and paragliding, car hire, visits to natural parks and other tourist attractions, etc. All products are described in detail on the company's website and are offered with the corresponding conditions and prices.

3. Acceptance of the conditions

Access to www.tenerifecotours.com: The use of this website, and booking an excursion and/or services offered, implies the acquisition of the condition of user and the declaration that you have read, understood and accept these Booking Conditions, the Privacy Policy and the Conditions of Use, which form an integral part of this Legal Notice.

We can only accept orders placed by persons of legal age. Minors must inform their parents or guardians of these general terms and conditions of sale. Parents or guardians must express their acceptance of these terms and conditions before using this website or making any purchase from this website.

4. Prices

The prices of the products and services offered by the Company are expressed in euros and are exempt from IGIC. The Company reserves the right to modify prices at any time, but products and services will be invoiced at the price in force at the time of purchase. The prices shown on the website override all previously published prices and are valid at the time of publication.

The price of the tour includes all the elements detailed in the "Included" section of the activity description. However, it should be noted that the prices do not include tips or any other items not explicitly indicated in the "Included" section.

5. Methods of payment

To book an excursion through the website, the Customer must pay the price indicated in the description of each excursion at the time of booking. Payment can be made in cash, by bank transfer, via Bizum or via the online payment platform. Depending on the selected payment method, the Customer may be redirected to an online payment platform where he/she can finalise the purchase using any of the accepted payment systems. Online payments are secure and are processed through a third party payment platform: Stripe. Our system is completely confidential and secure, and the data provided by users cannot be viewed by third parties. The information provided will be sent directly to the bank's payment gateway. Payment details will be provided to the Customer at the time of purchase.

If the Customer makes payment for their booking in a currency other than Euro, their bank or card company may charge fees for converting the payment from their currency to Euros, which may result in differences between the amount charged by TenerifEco Tours and the final amount that will be debited from their bank account or appear on their credit or debit card statement.

6. Modifications and corrections to reservations

To request modifications or corrections to your reservation, the Customer should write to hola@tenerifecotours.com. Please specify the booking number, your name and the date of the booked excursion. We will respond to your request as soon as possible.

7. Cancellations and refunds

The Client has the right to cancel a booking with TenerifEco Tours at any time prior to the date of the excursion, with the right to a full refund provided that written notice is given giving the full name, booking number and date of the excursion at least 24 hours in advance. In case the customer cancels less than 24 hours before the start of the booked excursion (Tenerife time), 100% of the amount paid will be retained, without the right to any refund. Cancellation deadlines may vary according to the chosen activity, in which case the cancellation conditions specified in the description of the activity will apply. The user is advised to read the information in the activity description carefully.

These conditions also apply in cases of cancellation or no-show. TenerifEco Tours assumes no liability if the user misses the activity or transfer due to lack of punctuality or failure to find the corresponding meeting point.

The corresponding refund will be issued within 24-48 hours after the cancellation of the tour with the same payment method used for the booking and the customer will be notified by email, WhatsApp message or direct phone call. Once the refund has been issued, payments made by debit/credit card may take 5-10 working days to appear in the bank account.

8. Change or Cancellation of a tour by the Company and its partners

The Company and its partners reserve the right to cancel a tour in the event of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather conditions. In the event of cancellation, the client will be offered the option to reschedule the tour, change to another activity or request a full refund. In addition, the provider may make minor changes to the activity or tour if deemed necessary due to unforeseeable or uncontrollable circumstances.

The Company and its suppliers may require the customer to meet certain conditions in order to successfully participate in the booked activities, such as having certain driving licences. These preconditions can be found in the description of the activities on the booking platform. The client is responsible for meeting and adhering to these preconditions. The provider reserves the right to refuse entry or exclude a customer from a tour or activity if these conditions are not met. In such a case, the price of the booking cannot be refunded.

In addition, The Company and its partners may refuse entry or exclude a customer from a tour or activity if the customer may endanger themselves or others, or disrupt or otherwise endanger the activity. In such a case, the price of the activity cannot be refunded.

If the customer provides false, inaccurate or incomplete information, or if the Company has reason to suspect that such information is false, inaccurate or incomplete, it reserves the right to cancel the customer's purchase. In such a case, the Company will notify the customer and will proceed to refund the amounts paid, discounting the costs generated by the transaction, through the same means by which the payment was made, within fourteen (14) days following such communication.

9.   Reservation and confirmation of the activity:

To book the excursions offered by TenerifEco Tours, the Client must follow the process established in the online platform or by phone call, mail or Whatsapp message. In the online booking, the customer must select the excursion of interest, timetable, number of participants, and complete the online booking form with the requested personal data. It is important that the client reviews and corrects any errors in the information provided before confirming the booking, as once the confirmation tab is clicked, the data cannot be modified.

The minimum online booking period is 24 hours in advance, or more depending on the activity, which is specified in the information provided. For last minute bookings, the Client must contact the Company by telephone. After the online booking is made, the booking is in process: TenerifEco Tours will contact the supplier to arrange the activity and confirm the booking with the Client, providing the necessary details via email or Whatsapp within 24 hours. Booking times may vary depending on the activity and are specified in the information provided at the time of booking.

TenerifEco Tours makes every effort to promptly update the availability of excursions. However, it cannot guarantee the availability of all excursions for all proposed dates, so it is possible that the Client may be contacted to propose a change of date or time. If it is necessary to make changes to the time or date of the booking due to lack of availability, TenerifEco Tours will contact the Client to propose available alternatives.

During the payment process of the excursion on the website, the customer is indicating to have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions of TenerifEco Tours. It is strongly recommended that the Client takes into account the Cancellation Policy before booking.

In case of force majeure that prevents or delays the delivery of the ticket, TenerifEco Tours will inform the Customer and propose an approximate date of delivery of the product without any liability for the Company. Cases of force majeure include any circumstance that prevents the delivery of the order for reasons beyond the control of either party, such as strikes, war, flood or other natural catastrophe.

In order to avoid delivery problems, it is essential that the customer fills in the corresponding form correctly. All fields marked with an asterisk must be filled in. TenerifEco Tours is not responsible for incorrect deliveries due to the inaccuracy of the data provided by the customer.

10.   Liabilities and disclaimers

Activities and services

TenerifEco Tours acts as an intermediary between the service providers and the clients, but does not assume any responsibility for the activities carried out by the service providers and does not guarantee the quality of the same. The service providers are solely responsible for their products and services, and TenerifEco Tours shall not be liable for any damage, loss or injury that the Customer may suffer during the performance of the contracted activities. The client renounces to denounce TenerifEco Tours for any damage occurred during the excursion.

The price shown on the booking platform does not include any insurance unless explicitly stated. The client is solely responsible for ensuring an adequate level of insurance for the selected activity.

During excursions, children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. In addition, detailed information will be provided on those excursions that have age or other restrictions, or that are not suitable for people with reduced mobility or pregnant women. This is done in order to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants in the contracted activities.
